Dr. Daniel Hernandez, a graduate of Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine, has lived in Mobile for over 8 years. He was the sole veterinarian and practice manager at Tillman's Corner Veterinary Hospital for approximately 7 years until passing the reins to Dr. Justin Mims in 2022. Before his tenure in Mobile, Dr. Hernandez owned part of a mixed animal practice providing full veterinary services in a brick and mortar combined with house call services and farm calls for all of Lamar County, AL.

He is married to his beautiful wife,Stephany Hernandez - a local Realtor with Wellhouse Real Estate, and has one son, Lexton. Next to being a husband and a father, being a veterinarian is his greatest life calling. Dr. Hernandez has multiple pets including a bob tailed cat named Talker, ball pythons, rosy boas, rats, a turtle, Mrs. Hobbles his free range chicken and an axolotl named Rex. It is likely there are more species to come as he believes one of the best ways to gain knowledge and be able to provide services for exotic species is to own and care for them himself!

Payton was born and raised in Mobile, AL. She has been married to her husband Michael for 11 years. She is a member of the Neptune's Daughters Mardi Gras Society and has been for approximately 10 years. She has 3 dogs (2 Lab mixes and 1 American Bulldog mix), 2 cats, and 1 snake.

Payton has been in the field of veterinary medicine for over a decade and has worked on various species from dogs and cats to snakes and lizards. She has worked with Dr. Hernandez for over half her career at multiple practices across Mobile. Together, Dr. Hernandez and Payton make up the Veterinary/Veterinary Assistant team that is MOBAL Veterinary Services. Her skills, experience, and knowledge, paired with the years of practice with Dr. Hernandez, make her an invaluable asset to the MOBAL Team and Family.
